Smokeless Fire Features for Your Outdoor Space

Real fire. Real heat. A fraction of the smoke. Breeo’s airflow engineering means everyone picks a seat and stays in it. Available in portable, permanent, and fully custom built-in configurations for any outdoor space.

Our Partners

Sitting around a fire should be one of the easier pleasures in life. Anyone who’s done it regularly knows the ritual though: smoke shifts direction, everyone rotates, the person who just walked out finds themselves directly downwind, and the whole group spends the evening playing an unspoken game of keep-away from the pit. Breeo addressed that with engineering rather than a workaround. Their double-wall combustion system uses controlled airflow to create a cleaner, more complete burn. The result is significantly less smoke and more heat, and nobody is checking which way the wind is blowing before they sit down.

Tidal-X installs Breeo smokeless fire features in three formats depending on the space and how you plan to use it. Portable units are freestanding and can be repositioned as your setup changes. Permanent installations are anchored and become a proper focal point of the yard, the kind of thing that draws people outside on a night they might have otherwise stayed in. Custom built-ins are fully integrated into hardscape or decking at the design stage, so the fire feature looks like it was always meant to be there rather than added on afterward. All three options come in a range of sizes and finishes.

Worth mentioning for the right household: Breeo makes a serious lineup of cooking accessories that attach directly to their fire pits. Grill arms, griddles, cast iron cookware, rotisseries, live-fire tools. The kind of setup that turns a fire pit into an outdoor kitchen without any additional installation. It is a long way from a bag of marshmallows, and for the people in your family who cook over fire, it tends to be the feature that closes the conversation.

Smokeless Airflow Technology

Breeo’s double-wall construction channels heated air into the fire from jets near the top of the inner chamber, creating a secondary combustion that burns off smoke before it escapes. More complete burn, significantly less smoke, same warmth and ambiance.

Portable, Permanent, or Custom Built-In

Three installation options to fit different spaces and intentions. A portable unit gives you flexibility. A permanent installation becomes a fixture of the yard. A custom built-in integrates directly into your hardscape or decking for a clean, finished look.

Everyone Stays in Their Seat

Less smoke means no more reading the wind before you sit down. People stay comfortable, conversations run longer, and evenings that might have ended early keep going. That’s the whole point.

Fire Done Right

Breeo

Breeo built their reputation on one genuinely useful innovation: making outdoor fire worth being around. The double-wall combustion chamber that drives their smokeless technology wasn’t a marketing feature added to an existing product. It was an engineering decision that changed what a fire pit could actually do, and it’s the reason the brand has the following it does among people who spend real time outdoors.

The cooking accessory ecosystem grew from the same logic. If people were already gathered around a Breeo fire, what else could that fire do for them? The product line expanded to answer that question, and the result is a fire pit that gets used more than most outdoor equipment because it does more than most outdoor equipment. Tidal-X installs Breeo fire features and X Series furniture, so if you want the full outdoor setup handled in one project, that’s exactly what we do.

FAQ's

How does smokeless technology actually work?
Breeo uses a double-wall construction that draws air in through perforations at the base, heats it in the space between the inner and outer walls, then reintroduces it into the fire through jets near the top of the inner chamber. That second injection of hot air creates a secondary combustion that burns off smoke before it escapes. It is not entirely smoke-free, particularly at startup or with wet wood, but the reduction in normal operation is significant enough that you stop thinking about where you’re sitting.
Portable units are freestanding and can be moved as needed. Permanent installations are anchored and become a fixed feature of your outdoor space. Custom built-ins are fully integrated into hardscape or decking during the design phase, so the fire feature is part of the space rather than placed in it. We’ll talk through which approach fits your situation during the consultation.
Yes, and it is one of the more popular features among our clients. Breeo makes a full range of cooking accessories designed for their fire pit dimensions: a swinging grill arm, griddles, cast iron cookware, a rotisserie, and other live-fire tools. Nothing needs to be modified or retrofitted. The accessories are purpose-built for the system.
Standard firewood. The smokeless technology works with the same wood you’d burn in any fire pit. Well-seasoned, dry wood produces the cleanest burn. Wet or green wood will produce more smoke regardless of the fire pit design, so wood quality matters.
Yes. The stainless steel construction is designed for outdoor permanence, including extended cold and the freeze-thaw cycle that defines spring up here. A cover during long stretches of non-use is a reasonable precaution, but the unit is built to stay outside without damage from weather.
Remove ash regularly and give it a rinse periodically. The stainless steel construction does not require rust prevention or seasonal treatment. Most clients find it takes less than five minutes to maintain. Low maintenance was a design priority, not an afterthought.
It was built to. The Breeo X Series outdoor furniture was developed as a complement to the fire feature lineup, with proportions and finishes designed to work together. Tidal-X installs both product lines, so if you want the complete setup planned and built as one project, that is exactly what we do.
